“Through the Lens of Urban Life” is an unbound photo book. This book captures people in Paris interacting with the city’s landmarks. This is an idea I explored in an accompanying essay where I was inspired by the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, my second home.
I have continued to develop this series by taking similar photos as I travel around the world.
For presentation I decided to create an installation by hanging the book pages on “clotheslines” with clothespins that replicate the way that we hang our laundry out to dry in Bilbao.
