This was a group project with Costanza Cordaro. We were assigned to create a wearable sculpture with wood and a secondary material of our choice. We decided to explore the mix of knit yarn with wood. We both had the desire to learn the craft and used this project as an opportunity to use knitting as our medium, but also explore the contradiction of the soft, malleable yarn and the solid wood.
